'Minority Report' in reality

Multi-touch interaction experiment

Rumours indicate that Apple would be using this technology for their future Mac products. I am sure the Graphic artists are the first to benefit from this technology.

Gmail integrates with Google talk chat archive

I opened my gmail today morning and I notice a new 'Chat' tab on the left navigation. Looks like they have introduced Google talk archiving facility and integrated that with Gmail. Now I can see all my chat conversations anywhere I am on the gmail account unlike Yahoo messenger which stores the archives on the local machine.
Gmail has now become Gmail talk :-)
Old logo on the left and new logo on the right:

I also would get the search capability of my Gmail to search the Google talk archives. This is cool. Btw Yahoo desktop search is pretty cool and it also indexes Yahoo IM archives on the local machine.

Mr Doubtfire

I really cant believe what extents Women would go to understand about Men. There was an interview telecasted yesterday night on CNN about a woman by name Norah Vincent who has written a book called - "Self-Made Man" and she disguised herself as a man to experience what it feels to be like a Man (huh!?!?). I wont be surprised if there is a new movie (Mr Doubtfire?) getting made based on this book :-)

I am sure this will be a Must-read for all women.

IITians form Political Party - Paritrana

Its really like a story out of Mani Rathnams 'Yuva'. It takes a lot of courage for the youngsters from IIT to give up higher studies at Foreign univs and handsome salaries to get into the dirty politics of India.

Hats off to you guys.

Want 1 Terabyte (1000 GB) email space?

I came across this email site (MailGlobal) providing 1 TB space. I used to think 1 GB was WOW when Gmail was launched, because Yahoo and other sites were providing 5 MB space at that time, BUT 1 TB is really the heights. My PC harddisk itself is just 80 GB capacity. If someone can make a Filesystem access to MailGlobal like the GFS, then I can store some 1000 movies into Mailglobal :-)

The site looks simple and neat. No Ads anywhere. Just give it a try and play around with it.
