Taking life as it comes...

Its a bird... Its a plane... Its a Powered Hang Gliding...

I wanted to try something adventurous in Hawaii this time and after browsing through couple of options like Skydiving, Scuba diving, Shark feeding etc... I decided to finally go for this one. Its called Powered Hang Gliding. Yep thats me sitting in the back seat :-)


Flying never looked so simple before. You just sit in this 2-seater with the pilot in the front and yourself in the back and then you fly off. The take-off and landing was very smooth in spite of the small wheels. The pilot sits in the front and controls the altitude. I was controlling the kite which is for directions. The helmet had mic and speakers inside for communicating with the pilot and the control room. The pilot also had a ipod connected and he was playing music. That was pretty relaxing way to enjoy the morning view. We were able to watch turtles from that height on the ocean and saw a lot of surfers on the beaches. Awesome fun overall and value for money.

Driving around a Truck - Not bad actually

Got bored of driving regular cars, so started driving a GMC truck for sometime. Its actually very comfortable driving this around. Amazing power too. Very handy when you want to shift houses. In the past 4 months, I have shifted 4 places so I can tell you how painful it gets everytime you want to shift.


But well... I can never trade my car for anything else in the world. BMW seriously rocks :-)

Make a wish tree

There is this Christmas tree standing in office with little cards hanging on them.
The card contains name and details of a gift that a child in need is wishing for this holiday. Anyone interested in buying that particular gift can do so and leave them by the tree with the tag around the gift. Nice concept. Saw this for the first time here.

Get together at Sups place

Guha drove down from LA (Orange county) and then we went to Sups & Supra's place at Foster city. Had an awesome Indian buffet lunch after that. Good fun after a long time.
